Fun with VIRB and BoatLogger

I'm really happy with the video I just posted on my BoatLogger home page, though I feel quite guilty that I haven't yet written a Panbo review about Garmin's great VIRB cameras.

I also remain excited about BoatLogger as more and more features seem to be working for me. Today I hope to collect some track logs of my trip to South Carolina and hopefully import them into BL.

The outside temp here is now 10 degrees, which is balmy compared to what we've seen the last couple of days. But I've often been bare foot thanks to the radiant heating we built into our house years ago.

Gizmo first Blogger entry

What I'm doing here is testing Google's free Blogger service, mainly so I can pour it into BoatLogger.com, which I'm also testing, as explained on my real blog site.

BoatLogger has all sorts of great features for creating a site that keeps track of your boat's trips and equipment and cruise photos, etc. etc...but it is not really for blogging, which implies a chronological list of entries that are automatically databased and organized by months, categories, and more (if desired).

I just tried inserting a photo into this test entry and because Blogger is a Google thing, I was given access to my Picassa web photos and to my Android phone photos, even though I didn't know those photos were in the Google somewhere...such a world. The phone shot is me at the America's Cup in San Francisco.
